Know History welcomes Senior Advisor Lyle Dick

Know History is pleased to welcome Lyle Dick to our team. One of Canada’s leading experts in Arctic, Inuit, and Canadian history, Lyle enjoyed a 35-year career as a historian with Parks Canada. He has authored over 100 publications on Arctic, Inuit, and Canadian history and historiography, including Muskox Land: Ellesmere Island in the Age of Contact, winner of the 2003 Innis Prize (now the Canada Prize). Lyle is Past President of the Canadian Historical Association (2011-2013) and has served on advisory committees for the Canadian Museum of History and the National Capital Commission.

Lyle joins us as a Senior Advisor to provide expert advice, mentor young professionals on our staff, and represent Know History at conferences and other events. As Canada’s top historical research firm, Know History is committed to continually improving our services and expertise. We look forward to working with and learning from Lyle through this new partnership.
