Municipality of Killarney 200th Anniversary
In 2020, the Municipality of Killarney in Ontario, Canada, celebrated its 200th anniversary! To commemorate this bicentennial, the Municipality of Killarney worked with our team of historical researchers and web designers to create a virtual exhibit. The result was an interactive timeline that tells the story of Killarney through local artefacts within the themes of family, isolation, lifestyle, marine life, and transportation. We spoke to former Municipality of Killarney Mayor Nancy Wirtz about her experience making the virtual exhibit.
