Expert Genealogy Research Report and Testimony,
Department of Justice
The Department of Justice retained Know History to provide independent analysis on historical and genealogical facts. The project involved reviewing legal documents and conducting genealogical research to trace the ancestry of the named plaintiffs and First Nations in the study region since 1899. The research included databasing historical documents in an online genealogy database and using Social Network Analysis to assess family relationships. Findings were compiled into an expert report in compliance with Federal Court Rules, with our expert presenting for cross examination.
