CIRNAC Yukon Regional Gathering

Last week, Know History was in Whitehorse for the CIRNAC Yukon Regional Gathering, connecting with partners, clients, and communities from across the region.

Our team shared archival research findings from the Yukon Residential School Missing Children Project and hosted a booth alongside the project, where we welcomed conversations, questions, and reflections throughout the gathering. Beyond the presentation, the week created space for meaningful dialogue, listening, and relationship building.

This experience is a strong reminder that time on the ground matters. Opportunities like this allow us to connect directly with communities, hear perspectives firsthand, and ensure our work continues to be shaped by those it serves.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with us! We carry those conversations forward into the work ahead.
