Introducing TheirStory: A New Chapter in Oral History
As historians, we know that the past is best understood through the voices who lived it.
That’s why we are thrilled to partner with TheirStory—a powerful end-to-end digital storytelling platform that captures and preserves lived experiences and oral history.
By integrating TheirStory into our services, we’re enhancing how we gather, archive and present oral histories. This means:
- One easy-to-use tool to collect, organize, and share stories.
- Storing all your oral histories in one place—new and old.
- Accessing interviews previously locked in hard-to-find formats.
- Supporting community ownership of knowledge and cultural legacy.
- Strengthening identity, passing on traditions, and challenging misrepresentation.
As natural collaborators—and proud digital nerds—we’re excited to be the only Canadian Foundational Partner adopting this innovative platform for our current and future oral history work.
